Teachers Wanted for our Annual Evaluation Service!
A description of the Ministry of Education’s expectations for teacher evaluations can be found in the document Evaluations Conducted in a Home Schooling Context by a Holder of a Teaching License. To assist you in the process, AQED also provides a template for evaluations (available only to AQED members and evaluators associated with our service). Each evaluator is of course free to choose the template and the type of evaluation that they feel is appropriate to meet the requirements of the DEM.
Evaluation meetings will be held between April and June 2022.
Required Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Québec teaching license
- Must be comfortable with a variety of teaching approaches, including unschooling
- Must be familiar with the Quebec Education Program (QEP) and have the ability to translate student work into language that corresponds to the competencies of the program and elements of the Progression of Learning (POL)
- Experience homeschooling your own children is an asset!
Compensation
100.00 per child (including evaluation meeting and report)

Send a brief resume with a sample evaluation report for parents (can be a mock report) to: [email protected]. Please be sure to indicate whether you can provide evaluations in English, French or both languages, and for which grade level (elementary, secondary).
Upon receipt of your information, a member of the AQED team will contact you to schedule an appointment for a virtual meeting, where we will provide you with all the necessary information and answer any questions you may have. We look forward to working with you!
