STEM Storytime

Fuel discovery, learning and creativity from September 20-26 for free with Science Literacy Week and Let’s Talk Science!

Each day at 1 p.m. EDT, a volunteer will read a story and lead a hands-on activity that will inspire young explorers and convey the excitement of STEM in our everyday lives!

Inspire young explorers by registering for one of the many great activities below!

Day 1: Monday, September 20, 1pm

The Water Cycle (Ages 4-8)

Dive in and explore one of the four elements with this exciting story and activity!

Day 2: Tuesday, September 21, 1pm

Greenhouse Gases (Ages 4-8)

Bees don’t just buzz, they also play a vital role in keeping our ecosystem and planet healthy.

But, what if they weren’t around? How would our lives change?

Day 4: September 23, 1pm

Rising Temperatures and Thermometers (Ages 4-8)

Is it getting hot in here? Better check the thermometer!

Day 5: September 24, 1pm

Cloud in a Jar (Ages 4-8)

Harness the power of the sky!

A Journey South (Ages 4-8)

Learn about all the cool journeys that animals undertake during the year!

Day 7: September 26

Air Pollution (Ages 4-8)

Learn about air pollution and how butterflies are affected.
