A word from the newly formed DEI committee

Promoting diversity, equity and inclusion within an organization always has two facets: the internal work that contributes to institutional health and the external offerings that directly benefit community members. The newly formed Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee (DEI) at AQED has been hard at work these past few months to begin to address these issues both internally and externally.

The first task has been to craft a mission statement for AQED that reflects our commitment to building an organization that is equitable, accessible and inclusive to all. Once the final version has been approved by the board, it will be shared with the broader community.
